444 Dawson Avenue
The site is located in Westboro, south of Byron Avenue, west of Kirkwood Avenue, north of Wesley Avenue, and east of Bevan Avenue. The site was previously occupied by a one and a half storey, peaked roof bungalow. The proposal was to demolish the existing bungalow and construct a two-storey home that will better accommodate the owner's needs.
The newly constructed dwelling has a GFA of 274 m². It will have functional presence on both Dawson Avenue and Wesley Avenue with a glazed south-east corner of the building, the garage facing Dawson Avenue, and the main entrance to the dwelling facing Wesley Avenue.
The following are some streetscape images and elevations of the dwelling, followed by a picture of the now constructed dwelling.
Minor variances were required for this project and it has since been approved and built.
