The subject property is located approximately 1 kilometre south of the Finch Urban Settlement Area within the Township of North Stormont and the United Counties of Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry.

 

Lloyd Phillips & Associates Ltd. was retained to act as agent for an Official Plan Amendment to the United Counties of Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry Official Plan, and a Zoning By-law Amendment to the North Stormont Zoning By-law for the purpose of regularizing a non-conforming use of a triplex residential building on the site that has existed since the early 1990’s.

 

The owner’s intent is to regularize the situation and to then proceed with the appropriate building plans and permits to bring the triplex into compliance with the Ontario Building Code so that it can return to being occupied by tenants.
